One of the most important features in KYCP is the notifications module, a system that alerts your teams the second there is a task that needs the attention of a human being. This panel of real time alerts helps in ensuring your team is alerted the second you are exposed to risk.
This new feature allows you to prioritise and streamline notifications and alerts based on the status that the application is in within the work.
The notifications module in KYCP is indeed a safeguard against any type of anomaly that you might have in your KYCP. From being alerted when documents are about to expire, to reviews that are about to be due, new screening match alerts, CSR data alerts and many more – the purpose of this module is to be able to have a list of tasks or actions that need to be done on applications. This list can also be assigned to teams and users in bulk or even automated based on workflow steps and data elements such as risk.
Automation however comes with great power. This feature of real time alerts combined with the fact that KYCP introduces perpetual KYC (pKYC) led to situation whereby KYCP was raising a lot of alerts and notifications that which didn’t really carry such risk on the basis that the application was still at onboarding stage. We had examples whereby the system raised an alert that 15 mandatory fields were still empty which led to the risk being HIGH (another alert) and also to the fact that screening couldn’t run (another alert) due to a critical field for screening being empty. All this, at a stage in the workflow when the subject in question was still a prospect.
This new feature allows you to decide which notifications are to be triggered based on what status the application is in the workflow. This adds a lot of benefit from a usability perspective so that the team can focus on tasks that are posing a risk at the relevant point in time in the workflow.
To use this new feature and create a new notification setting, click on Add Notification Settings within the Programmes section. This will take you to a configuration screen where you need to define the notification type as well as the STATUSES (from which to which) will this notification be active within the overall workflow.
